Abandon All Hope
The heat that eats the grass ablaze
And licks the ever-rolling stones,
It flares my bones to orange glows
And wails of many ways.
To scream with dreams of rising hell,
The stuff no breathing breath can take,
When brooms of demons swept the wake
So none of us can yell.
So none of us can hardly wait
To smell the flesh in dancing flame.
We spell the devil out our name
And burn outside the gate.
